Do I need an account to book?

Accepted Answer

Yes — booking requires a free Co.Lab Health account. Signing up takes about a minute and lets you choose a schedule, track each visit's status, securely store your home address, and access your results and receipts in one place. You'll verify your email before your first booking so result notifications reach the right inbox.

What areas do you currently service?

Accepted Answer

We service all of Metro Manila — every city (Caloocan, Las Piñas, Makati, Malabon, Mandaluyong, Manila, Marikina, Muntinlupa, Navotas, Parañaque, Pasay, Pasig, Quezon City, San Juan, Taguig, and Valenzuela) plus the Municipality of Pateros. We do not currently service areas outside Metro Manila. If your address falls outside our coverage, you'll see a notice at checkout before any payment is taken.

Can I book for my whole family or a group?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Use a group booking to schedule several people for one visit — handy for families, households, or small offices. You enter each person's details, pick a single schedule and address, and we send one medical technologist to collect everyone's samples in a single trip. Each person still receives their own results in their own portal. Group totals are billed per person — services and packages alike, since every member receives their own tests. One note: the statutory Senior Citizen/PWD discount is personal and requires ID verification, so it can't be applied at group checkout — eligible members can claim it by booking individually.

How should I prepare for my test?

It depends on the test. Some — such as fasting blood sugar (FBS) and lipid panels — typically require 8–12 hours of fasting, while many others need no preparation at all. When you book, your confirmation lists any preparation steps for the specific tests you selected. If you're unsure, message us or ask the chatbot before your visit.

What happens during a home visit?

On the day of your appointment, a licensed medical technologist arrives within your booked time window with everything needed for collection. They confirm your identity and the tests booked, collect your sample(s) using sterile single-use kits, label and seal them on-site, and answer any questions. A typical blood draw takes only a few minutes, and you'll get a confirmation once your sample is on its way to the laboratory.

Can I get same-day service?

Accepted Answer

Many services support same-day booking, subject to staff availability in your area and the time you book. After you submit a request we confirm the exact window — usually within a short time — and notify you by email and in your dashboard. Booking earlier in the day improves the odds of a same-day slot.

Question 7

How and when do I get my results?

Accepted Answer

Digital results are pushed to your patient portal and emailed to you as PDFs the moment the laboratory releases them. Turnaround depends on the test: routine panels are often available within a few business days, while specialized tests can take longer. With your consent, we can also forward results directly to your physician. You'll be notified as soon as anything is ready — no need to keep checking.

What do the flags on my results mean?

Each analyte is compared against its reference range and marked normal, high, or low, so out-of-range values are easy to spot at a glance. Your portal also charts results over time so you can see trends across visits. Flags are a guide, not a diagnosis — always review results with a physician, who can interpret them in the context of your history.

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept major cards, GCash, Maya, GrabPay, and bank transfer through a secure checkout. If you're using an HMO, the charge is processed through your provider's claim flow instead — with no out-of-pocket cost when the claim is approved.

When do I pay?

Accepted Answer

For direct-pay bookings you pay securely at checkout to confirm your slot, and you receive a downloadable receipt once payment succeeds. For HMO bookings there's no payment at checkout — we coordinate the claim with your provider after you submit your HMO card and a valid ID.

Question 11

What if I have an HMO?

Accepted Answer

Choose HMO at checkout, then submit a photo of your HMO card and a valid ID. Our team coordinates approval with your provider before the visit, and if approved, no patient charge applies. Your card details are encrypted and used only to process your claim.

Question 12

Do you offer Senior Citizen or PWD discounts?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Qualified Senior Citizens (RA 9994) and Persons with Disability (RA 10754) receive 20% off eligible services. Add your Senior Citizen or PWD ID number to your profile — once our team verifies it, the discount is applied automatically to your direct-pay bookings. Two notes: the discount is personal, so it applies to individual bookings only (members of a group booking can claim it by booking individually), and HMO bookings are already covered by your provider, so the two don't stack.

Can I get a receipt or invoice?

Yes. Every successful payment generates a downloadable PDF receipt, available in your dashboard under Invoices. If you need a receipt with specific billing details for reimbursement or company filing, contact us and we'll help.

Question 14

Do you offer health packages?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we bundle commonly ordered tests into packages (for example, general wellness or targeted screening panels) that are simpler to book than selecting tests one by one. Browse them on the Packages page; each lists exactly what's included so you know what you're getting.

Question 15

Can I cancel or reschedule?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can cancel or reschedule from your dashboard up to 4 hours before your appointment at no charge. Late cancellations may incur a small dispatch fee, since staff and kits are already allocated. If you've already paid and cancel in time, our team processes any eligible refund back to your original payment method.

Question 16

What if no one is home when staff arrive?

Accepted Answer

Our medical technologist will try to reach you by phone during your window. If the visit can't be completed because no one is available, it counts as a missed appointment and a dispatch fee may apply. If something comes up, please reschedule at least 4 hours ahead so we can free up the slot for someone else.

Question 17

Are your staff licensed, and are the labs accredited?

Yes on both. All field staff are licensed medical technologists, nurses, or physicians, and their licenses are verified and listed on your visit confirmation. Samples are collected in sterile, single-use kits and transported temperature-controlled to accredited Philippine laboratories, so your results carry the same validity as a walk-in lab visit.

Is my information private?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We comply with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). Sensitive data — such as HMO card numbers and Senior/PWD ID numbers — is encrypted at rest, access to your records is logged, and we collect only what's needed to deliver your care. Question 19

How do I delete my account and data?

Accepted Answer

You can permanently delete your account from your dashboard at any time. In line with your right to erasure under the Data Privacy Act, this removes or anonymizes your personal information — except for records we're legally required to keep (for example, billing records and clinical results subject to mandatory retention periods).
